The Arbor Difference...

The English-style Vermont on home site 15 is looking more and more like a home....the beautiful brick work on the exterior, as well as the stone entry are just a few of the special touches that sets Arbor apart from others.  The construction of our homes, the products used, interior finishes and features make an Arbor home the smart choice!  Along with the beautiful finishes and livable floor plans, what's behind the walls and on the outside are most important.
Every Arbor home features extremely durable 30-year roofing, high-efficiency gas furnaces and water heaters, 100% James Hardie siding and cladding for long-term protection, water saving fixtures from Moen and Kohler (water sense technology), high-efficiency building "envelope" including Tyvek drain wrap, superior blown-in wall insulation, efficient vinyl windows installed with a state-of-the-art technique for lower energy bills and water intrusion, along with many more!

Arbor cares about your physical health, which is why creating interior environments for healthy living is a priority.  Moisture control during construction is done to prevent mold, moisture tests are conducted on framing lumber prior to drywall installation, low VOC paint is used for optimal indoor air quality, heat vents are sealed to prevent dust and debris during construction, and many more healthy construction practices.

Arbor is extremely conscientious about maintaining the natural balance in our neighborhoods.  A few details we attend to are efficient allocation of developed land preserving maximum natural landscape, walking paths and open green spaces, storm water management, erosion control, engineered siding and interior trim is manufactured from industrial waste, 100% of recyclable construction waste is recycled, low-flow shower heads to minimize water consumption, and environmentally conscientious community landscaping techniques.

Now that you know about all the fantastic benefits of an Arbor home, it's time to come see what I'm talking about in person.  Our Model Home is open Wednesday through Sunday, so feel free to stop by or schedule an appointment with one of our fabulous Arbor consultants to see any of our showcase homes or to find the perfect home site to build your dream home.  Looking forward to meeting you soon!!

Happy Trails in Happy Valley

I recently decided to explore Happy Valley and go for a run after a day at the office.  To my surprise, there are walking trails all over with some great scenery!  I had no idea how many there were, along with some serious inclines.  And everyone I came across along the way were all so very friendly....so I guess Happy Valley really is "happy".  It's a great way to enjoy the neighborhood while getting a little exercise in as well.  Not to mention, STAIRS.  If you haven't experienced the torture along 152nd, you need to.  While these stairs look scary, they really aren't...once you reach the top, you feel like a million bucks and you can rest for a few to take in the breathtaking views.  Next time you feel like taking a nice stroll, take advantage of the abundant trails right in your own backyard!  Here's a link to map out your next adventure.....Happy Valley Walking Map.  Happy trails to you!!
